both offer you the opportunity to “go
as you please” or "pre-book" your standard or
ensuite accommodation all properties are inclusive of breakfast.
It is wise to keep in mind that pre-booking is often advisable due to
busy summer crowds and special events such as Edinburgh Tattoo.
We recommend that you book 3-4 days prior to your stay, in high season
June – Aug pre-booking is essential.
No refunds on unused nights. Some supplements may apply for special
events e.g. Tattoo/ Bank Holiday weekends, this will be advised at time
of booking.
An accommodation guide will be supplied for “go
as you please” to help you select your property. You can view
the properties in the program at www.discovertravelandtours.com,
select directories to view properties. This site will give you the
opportunity to view the quality of homes and hotels on offer.

The programme works with
pre-paid accommodation vouchers.
You buy your vouchers before you leave home therefore paying in
Australian dollars with no added VAT.
Each voucher is valid for one night accommodation of your choice. Many
clients prefer to mix accommodation types with some nights B&B with
some Inns or Hotel accommodation to experience all types of British
hospitality.
When you book your "go as you please" accommodation
vouchers you will receive an accommodation guide to help you select your
properties.
You may purchase your vouchers as open dated “go
as you please" travel. Simply telephone ahead
to secure your next night’s accommodation. In high season
"pre-booking" is highly recommended.
Alternatively you may prefer to have all your accommodation booked and
confirmed before you leave home. We can do the bookings for you from our
office.
